The Practical Driving Test in Leeds & Wakefield lasts for approximately 40 minutes and during this time you will need to demonstrate good driving skills which you have learnt on your driving lessons. A DSA driving examiner will assess your driving ability on a wide range of roads & driving conditions and will mark any driving errors that may occur. You will be driving around Leeds or Wakefield driving test areas directed by the driving examiner. Before you can book a practical driving test you must have firstly successfully pass the

DSA Driving Test Examiners

Your driving test will be conducted by a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) driving examiner. Before the driving test you will wait in the driving test centre waiting room where you can relax & calm any nerves. At your appointed time your freindly DSA Driving Examiner will enter the waiting room to greet you. He will ask you to provide both parts of your provisional driving licence and you will need to sign an insurance declaration.

driving test : The Eyesight Check

Your driving test will begin with an Eyesight Check. You will need to be able to read a number plate from the required distance in good daylight conditions. You can use the aid of glasses or contact lense to read the number plate but you must continue to wear them when you are driving. You must pass this section of the driving test otherwise the driving test will be terminated and you are likely to lose your driving test fee.

"Show Me, Tell Me" car safety questions
