Pass Plus has 6 modules which are:
The Pass Plus driving course requires no official driving test, but you will be assessed by our Pass Plus registered driving instructors. Our driving instructors will monitor you driving closely & give you professional guidance towards completing the Pass Plus course successfully. Pass Plus requires a minimum of 6 driving hours in order to complete the 6 modules.
As with all aspects of driving lessons with us, you Pass Plus course will be conducted in an enjoyable & highly eductional environment allowing you to progess well with the driving course.
City Centre & Town Driving - Pass Plus
This module begins with an introduction to the Pass Plus Driving Course covering your area of Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford & Huddersfield and what is needed to be successful with this course. You will then be given a short briefing followed by a practical driving session which will cover all the essential elements of driving in Leeds city centre safely. You will be dealing with complex junctions, busy traffic, dealing with pedestians
All Weather Driving - Pass Plus
If the weather conditions permit we will cover both the thoery and practical elements of this module. The section will begin with a briefing on how driver, vehicle & road are effected in different weather & lighting conditions. You will then start a practical driving session demonstating what has been learnt.
Country Rural Road Driving - Pass Plus
After a short brief you will be driving on rural country roads. You will need to demonstrate that you are aware of the risks when driving on country roads and deal with these situations accordingly. although these type of roads are generally quiet, many serious accidents happen due to this fact. Too many people tend to ignore the risks. We will give you expert guidance in this area showing you how to deal with these roads safely.
Night Driving - Pass Plus
This module covers the risks involved with driving at night and in reduced lighting conditions. You will need to show the correct procedures for safe night driving making good use of the vehicles lighting controls in different situations. Consideration will need to be shown to other road users when using the lighting when a driver is required to do so.
Driving On Dual-Carriageways - Pass Plus
On this module you will be learn and demonstrate how to join & leave dual carriageways in a safe manner. Your driving instructor will teach you all the essential skills and assess how you keep a safe distance between vehicles, observe & plan well ahead for situations and how to overtake safely.
Motorway Driving - Pass Plus
This module covers the essential elements involved with safe motorway driving. Motorway driving involves higher speeds and a driver must read situations well in advance at all times. You will be given a full detailed briefing followed by a practical motorway driving session. Topics covered include joining and leaving motorways, fatigue, motorway breakdown procedures, overtaking & lane disipline.
